Mobility atlas
The mobility atlas is an independent mobility study carried out by Prof. Kay W. Axhausen of the IVT (Institute for Traffic Planning and Transport Systems) at the ETH (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) in Zurich.

It illustrates the traffic, based on direction, for every area of Swiss roads, and is divided up into
  • Mobility categories
    • Cars
    • Pedestrians
    • Public transport
  • Driving factors behind mobility
    • Shopping mobility
    • Professional mobility
    • Leisure mobility
    • Leisure mobility
and according to various socio-demographic criteria..

These data can be used to measure gross frequencies for each location of outdoor advertising (OTS).

The mobility atlas can be updated to include any alterations in the traffic system.
